Owner & Captain
Grand Banks have set the standard when it comes to quality and comfort. Movin’ On has a generously provisioned enclosed cabin, fore and aft staterooms with private bathrooms, three levels of viewing platforms including a flybridge and plenty of cushioned seating.
If you want to go out on one of our stand up paddleboards, we’ll get you out of the harbor, away from boat traffic and into an environment that will match your skill level. It might be off-shore, just beyond the kelp forests or in a protected cove. Out of the harbor, you are also more likely to see dolphins playing alongside you, sea lions, fish swimming through the kelp beds or possibly even a pod of whales.
Our Grand Banks 36 is equipped with different sized Riviera stand up paddleboards to accommodate both kids and adults. We chose these hand-finished boards because they provide superior response, glide, and maneuverability.
We’ll take you out into the open ocean aboard Spartan. Based on Philip Rhodes 1955 design #632, Spartan is a look back into what the racer/cruiser class was all about. Rhodes’ boats are renowned for their sea kindliness. At 42 feet on deck, 720 square feet of sail and weighing in at 26,000 pounds, Spartan will provide you with a comfortable and, with a bit of wind, exhilarating sail along the Orange County coastline.
